The Art Of War – Knowing Your Enemy: Satan

“And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”
- Roman, chapter 12, verse 2

This powerful verse written by servant of Jesus, Paul indicate to us our life be able to transform when our mind, thinking pattern, thought process and embedded software programming language in our brain are renewed when we aligned ourselves with the word of God by reading the Bible.

What Do We Mean By Renewing Our Mind?
First of all, we must realize that our brain is the most complex arrangement of cells. You may have high IQ, average IQ or below average IQ, but your brain is still incredible and highly intelligent. Our brain averagely weight only about three pound but it store all kind of input, experiences, knowledge and skills since our child-hold to adolescence and then adulthood and old age. Psychologists tell us averagely we have ten thousand thought in our brain in a day.

However the human thought process that taking place in our brain is always remains a mysterious to brain scientists throughout the world even though numerous brain researches have been carried out for years since the invention of computer technology.

But there is one thing is sure that what we think will have the direct effect and direction on our life. What we are is what we think in our brain. Whatever controls your mind control your life and destiny. The outward expression of our act, behavior, speech and response is the manifestation what is already embedded in your thought system.

Change always starting in the mind. Be transformed by the renewing of the mind. The way you think determine the way you feel and the way you feel will determine the way you act. Thought affect our emotion and feeling. We do not depend on our feelings when feeling shifted or flash of feeling sensation. Repentance is the changing the way we think. Technically to say is the Paradigm Shift for Performance Enhancement.

Behind Every Sin Is Lie
“For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down imagination and every high things that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.”
- 2nd Corinthian, chapter 10, verse 3-5

What Is The Stronghold?
A stronghold is simply is a mind set. We are held away by our certain way of thinking. If you are constantly facing habitual confusion such as doubt, anxiety and fear, you are dealing with a stronghold. Stronghold comes against us in our thought. We have to pull down in our live our thought pattern which is destructive and damaging. Day and night, we are bombarded with negative thoughts and lies that destroy our inner spirit that is able to communicate with Holy Spirit.

Satan is an expert in thought system and is a great psychologist as well. The most common way the spiritual way intervening with the physical world is through the human thought process. If the devil (fallen angels) want to do something, they speak to human through imagination and thought of it people that arouse fears. Just do self-checking between your own two ears what the devil speaking lies to you. What is the mental image and audio tape you are keep on playing until it is embedded into your thought.

The Satan only can defeat us if we buy its deception. Satan can inject into our thinking system all sorts of deceptions, distortion and lies. Satan is an expert in thought attack. Many people are falling victims into Satan hands.

Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the Eve, “Have God indeed said, you shall not eat of every tree of the garden?” – Exodus, chapter 3, verse 1

Satan is referring to as a serpent because its nature is crooked and crafty. Satan comes only to steal, destroy, harm, slander and kill. Not reading Bible, doubting the words of God, not aligning our thought system to the principles of Bible teaching are the root causes many are falling into the Satan hands.

Ephesians, Chapter 6, Verse 10-18
“Finally, my brother, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in highly places.”

“Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.”

“Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.”

“And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints.”
