I Communicate With God In Prayer

A holy Sunday. It is a day of Sunday service for every Christians coming closely as a big family in my church of EPPC in Penang (Malaysia), listening to the pastor’s sermon, and then go for altar call for repentance, Holy Spirit baptism and confession.

Yet, in spite of it all, I feel something amiss – the intimacy with the Lord. Perhaps it is because of the huge gathering of the crowd. I miss the one-to-one relationship with the Lord, the prayer dialogue like that between a master and His apprentice.

I communicate with Him through reading my favorite Psalm 119. This intimate prayer is the source of my life strength, wisdom, knowledge, understanding, courage and perseverance as well as renewal of my spirit and mind.

Will God listen to us? Yes.
Will God answer to us? Four possible answers: Yes. Wait. Others Option. No.

“You will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart, I will be found, says the Lord.” - Jeremiah, chapter 29, verse 11-14
