Holy Spirit Is Fire Sending Down From Heaven

Exodus: Chapter 3, Verse 1-8
Verse 1-5: Now Moses was tending the flock of Jethro his father-in-law, the priest of Midian. And he led the flock to the back of the desert and came to Horeb, the mountain of God. And the angel of the Lord appeared to him in a flame of fire from the midst of a bush. So he looked and behold, the bush was burning with fire, but the bush was not consumed. Then Moses said, “I will now turn aside and see this great sight, why the bush does not burn.” So when the Lord saw that he turned aside to look, God called to him from the midst of the bush and said, “Moses, Moses!” And he said, “Here I am.” Then He said, “Do not draw near this place. Take your sandals off your feet, for the place where you stand is holy ground.”

Verse 6-8: Moreover He said, “I am the God of your father – the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob.” And Moses hid his face, for he was afraid to look upon God. And the Lord said: “I have surely seen the oppression of My people who are in Egypt and have heard their cry because their taskmasters, for I know their sorrows. So I have come down to deliver them out of the hand of Egyptians and to bring them up from that land to a good and large land, to a land flowing with milk and honey, to the place of Canaanites, the Hittites, the Amorites, the Perizzites, the Hivites and the Jebusites.

1st King: Chapter 18, Verse 30-39
Verse 30-33: Elijah said to all the people, “Come near to me.” So all the people came near to him. And he repaired the altar of the Lord that was broken down. And Elijah took twelve stones, according to the number of the tribes of the sons of Jacob, to whom the word of the Lord had come, saying “Israel shall be your name.” Then with the stones he built an altar in the name of the Lord; and he made a trench around the altar large enough to hold two seahs of seeds. And he put the wood in order, cut the bull in pieces and laid it on the wood and said, “Fill four water-spots with water, and pour it on the burnt sacrifice and on the wood.”

Verse 34-36: Then he said, “Do it a second time” and they did it a second time; and he said, “Do it a third time,” and they did it a third time. So the water ran all around the altar; and he also filled the trench with water. And it came to pass, at the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, that Elijah the prophet came near and said, “Lord God of Abraham, Isaac and Israel, let it be known this day that Your servant, and that I have done all these things at Your word.

Verse 37-39: “Hear me, O Lord, hear me, that this people may know that You are the Lord God, and that You have turned their hearts back to You again.” Then the fire of the Lord fell and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood and the stones and the dust, and it licked up the water that was in the trench. Now when all the people saw it, they fell on their faces; and they said, “The Lord, He is God!” The Lord, He is God!”
1st Chronicles: Chapter 7, Verse 1-4
When Solomon had finished praying, fire came down from heaven and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices; and the glory of the Lord filled the temple of God. And the priest could not enter the house of the Lord, because the glory of the Lord had filled the Lord’s house. When all the children of Israel saw how the fire came down, and the glory of the Lord on the temple, they bow their faces to the ground on the pavement, and worshiped and praised the Lord, saying: “For He is good, For His mercy endures forever.” Then the king and all the people offered sacrifices before the Lord.
2nd King: Chapter 2, Verse 8-15
Verse 8-10: Now Elijah took his mantle, rolled it up and struck the water; and it was divided this way and that, so that the two of them crossed over on the dry ground. And so it was, when they had crossed over, that Elijah said to Elisha, “Ask! What may I do for you, before I am taken away from you?” Elisha said, “Please let a double portion of your spirit be upon me.” So he said, “You have asked a hard thing. Nevertheless, if you see me when I am taken from you, it shall be so for you; but if not, it shall not be so.”

Verse 11-13: Then it happened, as they continued on and talked, that suddenly a chariot of fire appeared with horses of fire, and separated the two of them; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven. And Elisha saw it and he cried out, “My father, my father, the chariot of Israel and its horsemen!” So he saw him no more. And he took hold of his own clothes and tore them into two pieces. He also took up the mantle of Elijah that had fallen from him, and went back and stood by the bank of Jordan.

Verse 14-15: Then he took the mantle of Elijah that had fallen from him, and stuck the water and said, “Where is the Lord God of Elijah? And when he also had struck the water, it was divided this way and that; and Elisha crossed over.” Now when the sons of the prophets who were from Jericho saw him, they said “The spirit of Elijah rests on Elisha.” And they came to meet him and bowed to the ground before him.
Matthew: Chapter 3, Verse 11-12
John the baptize said, “I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. His winnowing fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clean out His threshing floor, and gather His wheat into the barn; but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.”
John: Chapter 3, Verse 1-7
Verse 1-3: There was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews. This man came to Jesus by night and said to Him, “Rabbi, we know that You are a teacher come from God, for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him.” Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I said to you, unless one is born again, he can not see the kingdom of God.”
Verse 4-7: Nicodemus said to Him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born?” Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he can not enter the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’

Zechariah: Chapter 2, Verse 1-5
Then I raised my eyes and looked, and behold “a man with a measuring line in his hand. So I said, “Where are you going?” And he said to me, “To measure Jerusalem, to see what is its width and what is its length.” And there was the angel who talked with me, going out to meet him, who said to him, “Run, speak to this young man, saying “Jerusalem shall be inhabited as towns without walls, because of the multitude of men and livestock in it. For I, say the Lord, “Jerusalem will be a wall of fire all around her, and I will be the glory in her midst.”
